About our classes
Beginner Classes
The Beginner class will safely introduce you to the exciting sport of archery. You will learn about the basic parts of the bow and arrow, and how to safely handle, shoot and store your bow. Then, enjoy the excitement of launching dozens of arrows into unsuspecting targets. All of the equipment is provided. Cost is $20 per class.

Intermediate Classes
Participation in this class will enhance your shooting skills, sharpen your aim, and get you closer to your inner Robin Hood. We will cover different distances, and 3D tournament strategies. You will participate in a few friendly shooting challenges. Great prep for our monthly meetup at the 3D tournaments at the Ruben Powell Archery Range. The cost is $20 per class.

Class Locations
Morley Field Archery Range
Most of our beginner and intermediate classes are held at Morley Field on select Saturday mornings. Morley Field offers a standard range with 34 lanes divided into two halves. The left field has target butts at 10, 20, 30 and 40 yards. The right field has target butts at 50, 60, 70 yards and 30, 50, 70, 90 meters. The range has shade coverings over many of the exiting shooting lanes.
Balboa Park Rube Powell Archery Range
For Archery Tournaments we use the Balboa Park Rube Powell Archery Range. This is a walking range through the canyon adjacent to Highway 163. There are 14 targets open year-round. The remaining targets are only open during tournaments, held ~twice/month on the 1st & 3rd weekends. There is also a small practice range at the beginning of the course with target ranges from 10 to 40 yards. This is a great range with a forest like quality.
Chula Vista Olympic Training Center
Arrow Bound Archery is honored to help in training at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center for Wounded Warrior Project Archery classes as well as instructor certifications. This state of the art Olympic training facility boast both indoor and outdoor ranges. It is home to the USA Olympic Archery Athletes.
